I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
